A Great Cause :-)

I just received this in an email:

Hi Heather,
We are having a concert to help raise money for my 6 year old nephew’s medical expenses. Caleb has been bravely battling brain cancer for 2 ½ years. Due to the aggressive nature of the medical treatments we had to use for him to live he is having a lot of medical problems. He had daily radiation therapy, 2 brain surgeries, chemotherapy for 18 months, PT/OT, and to many MRI’s and CAT scans to remember.

Here are details:
The event will be held at Brewsky’s Food & Spirits (15350 Weir Street) 153rd & Q Street in Omaha, NE on Thursday the 16th of July. The band Losing Lincoln is playing from 9-11pm and all proceeds will go to help my brother and sister-in-law with Caleb’s medical expenses. There will be a silent auction. My sister-in-law had to quit her full time job around Easter to take Caleb to his daily rehab in Lincoln Nebraska (Madonna Hospital). The added expense of driving to and from Lincoln everyday Monday – Friday and placing Caleb’s younger brother in daycare has really hit their finances hard.
